About Me

Hi! My name is Michelle and I am passionate about helping families achieve their feeding goals with their babies. It was my own struggle in nursing my firstborn that brought me to seek lactation support. I consulted a lactation consultant in Toronto and, with her help, went on to successfully nurse my baby. I was astounded. I couldn’t believe that this kind of support existed and I wanted to be part of it. So, I decided to embark on the journey of becoming an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant).

Fast forward two years and two children later, I have completed my program in Lactation Medicine, training directly under Dr. Jack Newman and other exceptional paediatricians and lactation consultants. I have countless hours of hands-on experience working with hundreds of families to address and overcome a myriad of feeding challenges (including nipple/breast pain, blocked ducts, mastitis, not-yet-latching babies, breast refusal, low milk supply, oversupply, fussiness, among many, many others).

It is my joy to empower families to know and feel that they are being the best caregivers they can be- for their little ones, as well as themselves. I aim to offer evidence-based support, equipping families with practical and usable skills that can be incorporated into their daily routines. It is my sincere hope to meet parents, caregivers and babies with compassion and kindness, without judgment, and to journey with them to meet their goals.
